Leading with psychological understanding.

Emotional intelligence, leadership styles, stress management, and personality – this module provides psychological perspectives on leadership and leadership competence.
What does leadership mean from a psychological perspective – and why is emotional intelligence often more decisive than pure expertise?
In this module, we explore different leadership styles, the influence of personality profiles, and constructive ways of leading under stress.
The aim is to understand leadership as a learnable skill and to discover which leadership style best matches one’s own personality – scientifically grounded, practice-oriented, and reflective.

Communicate effectively, listen actively, argue better.

Communication from a scientific perspective – including attention control and argumentation logic.
How do I communicate efficiently – beyond rhetoric and gut feeling? This module explores different communication psychology models, shows how attention forms the foundation of every communication, and how we can persuade through argumentation – or recognize when others attempt to manipulate us.
The goal: communicate more clearly, argue more effectively, avoid misunderstandings.

What works inside, works outside.

Thought control, inner monologue, mental self-talk, mindfulness & affirmations – scientifically explained, practically applicable.
The most important communication often happens in our own heads – our inner voice shapes our thinking, feeling, and acting.
This module explores the difference between fast and slow thinking, sheds light on the inner monologue as a neurological and psychological phenomenon, and provides strategies such as active acceptance, mindfulness, and affirmations for mental self-regulation.

How information and experiences truly stick.

Classical & operant conditioning, memory processes, and the role of attention in learning.
Learning is more than memorizing – it is an interplay of attention, motivation, and connection. This module explains core principles such as classical and operant conditioning, memory mechanisms, and key factors for sustainable knowledge processing.
We show how learning succeeds in everyday life – and why repetition alone is often not enough.

Make better decisions – especially under pressure.

Recognize cognitive biases, understand decision-making types, choose wisely under stress and uncertainty.

Making good decisions is not a matter of luck – it is a learnable process. We analyze typical cognitive biases, insights from game theory and the role of zero-sum vs. non-zero-sum games, decision-making under stress, and the difference between accurate vs. adequate decisions.
Complemented by metacognitive strategies, this module helps make decisions more consciously and reflectively.

Who am I – and how can I grow?

Big Five, dark personality traits, empathy, ownership – including a scientifically grounded self-test.
What makes us unique as individuals – and how can we actively develop our personality? We explore the Big Five, dark personality traits, empathy skills, and the role of cognitive reappraisal.
Particularly in focus: the concept of “Extreme Ownership” as a mindset for growth and self-efficacy.

Understand, shape, and accompany change.

Psychological reactions, leadership strategies, and communication processes in times of change.
Change often comes with friction – but also with enormous potential for development. This module examines psychological reactions to change, the interaction of communication, leadership, and stress regulation, as well as the influence of different personality types in change processes.
The aim: not just moderating change, but shaping it effectively through psychological understanding.

Understanding stress – and making it manageable.

Levels of stress, symptoms, pros and cons, and effective stress management.
Stress is neither inherently good nor bad – but left unregulated, it becomes a burden. We clarify what acute and chronic stress truly mean, which physical, emotional, and cognitive reactions occur, and how burnout develops as a result of stress.
The module also covers evidence-based methods of stress reduction – from short-term techniques to long-term resilience building.

Prevention, resilience, and healthy self-management.

Burnout, depression, stress mechanisms, and everyday health strategies – scientifically grounded & impactful.
Mental health is not a fixed state but a dynamic continuum. This module provides scientifically based knowledge about burnout, depression, coping, and key prevention and intervention methods.
Central to it is the question: How can I maintain and promote mental health in everyday life – and respond appropriately to early warning signs?

Recognize, label, and influence emotions.

Scientific foundations of emotions and concrete strategies for conscious regulation of emotional reactions.
Emotions are deeply rooted in evolution – but not always helpful. In this module, we explain what emotions are from a psychological perspective, how they arise, and how we can regulate them consciously.
The focus is on functional vs. dysfunctional regulation strategies – and how they can be applied in everyday life, performance situations, and relationships.
Additional psychological topics on request:
e.g. psychological development of youth athletes, psychological gender differences, etc.
